Ever since my childhood I have been fascinated by the decoration of interiors. It started as a young girl when I lived in Brussels.

I was inspired by the contrasts of nature and the metropolis of the city. Likewise when I visited the old castles and country houses on my trips to Ireland and France with my family. I couldn’t take my eyes off the refinement and detailing of the floors, furniture, fabrics, paneling and ceilings and mirrors where I saw antiquity. It still touches me when I see the weathering and influence of time in materials. Now I combine these contrasts of antiquity with contemporary art, (Italian)design, and raw materials in my interiors. Nature continues play a major role in my interiors.
